🌿 CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS – SUMMER CARE FOR SQUIRRELS 🌿 Poreč, May 15th – September 15th, 2025

Dear citizens of Poreč,

On behalf of the Health Center Harmony association, we invite all of you – adults and youth – to join us in a special summer volunteer action to care for squirrel water stations throughout the town.

During the summer months, when temperatures rise significantly, wild animals like squirrels have limited access to fresh water. Due to dry weather and the evaporation of natural sources, fresh water becomes essential for their survival. Our water stations are placed at several locations in Poreč, and it’s important they are refilled daily – even twice a day in July and August, as water evaporates quickly under the hot sun.

We already have wonderful volunteers who help throughout the year by taking care of feeders and water stations for birds and squirrels, but summer brings special challenges, and every helping hand is appreciated.

If you have a bit of free time, love animals, and wish to contribute to your community and nature, join us!

By volunteering, you give the animals something as simple and vital as a drop of fresh water on a scorching day.
