The children from Radost Kindergarten in Poreč have made a creative contribution to the "Lend a Hand to Nature" project. With lots of imagination and color, they painted houses for squirrels, creating vibrant and appealing homes for these small forest dwellers. Their effort and enthusiasm have contributed to the preservation of nature and provided better living conditions for the squirrels. Bravo to our little ecological heroes!
Of course, the brightly colored houses will not be placed in nature but will serve as educational tools in various workshops and lectures in the future. Houses for forest animals need to be painted dark brown to make them less visible to predators.
Let's remember that "Lend a Hand to Nature" is a project focused on protecting and restoring the population of red squirrels and safeguarding urban wildlife in Poreč. Its goal is to create a healthy and sustainable environment for wildlife, especially red squirrels, which are an important part of the local ecosystem.
