What to put in the feeders?

IN THE FEEDER

  • Walnuts (in-shell and shelled)

  • Hazelnuts (in-shell and shelled)

  • Almonds (in-shell and shelled)

ON THE FEEDER

  • Pieces of carrot, apple, celery, or cucumber (fresh, not pickled)

  • Berries

  • Pieces of watermelon in the summer

*Please do not place fruits and vegetables inside the feeder, but on top of the feeder.

What NOT to put

  • Salted and roasted nuts

  • Sweets, crackers, or snacks

  • Dog, cat, or other pet food

  • Bread

  • Cooked or processed human food

  • Legumes

  • Acorns

  • Black sunflower seeds
